Hi Gary, Thank you for the information, nice tip with alphasports. Just need to locate the drive gear now that goes on the back of the clutch basket off the same model. Bikes all back together and looking real good lighter and faster, lol Hope to see you soon as recovering quite well now. Jon

Glad to hear your getting better Johhny. I haven't tried it but been told that 600 bandit and 750 t pot clutch basket gears are the same as the gsxr ones,, ,, they have the same number of teeth and the part numbers are almost the same.. ?there must be loads of 600 bandit motors about and bits will be pennies compared to gsxr 750 ones.. will be at cadwell for the practicle classic magazine track day in a months time,. Cheers Garry

Ive had small ride on it and does seem slightly quicker, the clutch ive made up is half weight of the 11 and nice action being quite troublesome project and my mini alternator not gone quite to plan, it dont like been spun up to 20 000 rpm and has snapped twice hence the 750 gears slow it down a bit. Few pics for you.

You've done a lot of work there jonny1bump ! - good work How much weight do you think your bike's lost now ? Looks like the 1100 should be good on the track - nice !

Er its bit of a mix really not being easy but this is only stage 1 seems to be working good now, but need to really abusive it and make sure it lasts, need to rethink the alternator again, making real good power again which is nice. Just posted picture in pic of the month you may well remember the bike then. Jon.
