Back in the day, 1982 I had a Harris "race" pipe on my GSX. It wasn't very well made and was incredibly loud but it made a lovely (imo) sound. Even at idle. I just bought a 1981 GSX1100 and am looking to replace the pipe. It has an original system in pretty decent condition I'll use for the MOT but I want to go 4:1. The bike cost me £770 so I'm not in the market for a hand made titanium pipe, but something must be out there. Suggestions please :-D This looks nice but I can't make out the manufacturer. www.rescogs.com/2014/04/suzuki-gsx1100-special/ ( I have mesaged Lucky Seven but not had a reply yet) For the record, I don't like V&H pipes. /Phil [EDIT, I got a reply from Lucky Seven on FB, the pipe in the photo above is from www.nrpexhausts.co.uk/)

I understand you lads are on the other side of the pond, but the motogpwerks have become quite popular over here. Chris sells his products, when they're available (rather exclusive products ) on eBay and through his website. I paid about $600 delivered to my door for mine. No idea what shipping would cost to you, though

Christ that's very nice. I like the look of it though I also really like the "constant curve" of the pipe in my original photo.
Nice bike btw, what discs have got on it?
Thanks for the tip!
Phil

Thanks for all the replies! My current fave is the NRP, mostly as I liked the bloke there I spoke to on the phone and the curve of the headers pipes. A bit pricey at £550 plus shipping but it's a custom build. In brushed stainless The Harris pipe is exactly what I had on my bikes. I think I had a darker finish. BUT I had 4 pipes I think and the weld on the silencer bracket broke on all four. I did a pipe welding course years ago now (all pipes not exhaust) and I realised how bad the welding on the Harris had been. I got a really grotty V&H pipe with the bike and that's really shockingly bad. IMO. Phil

I have a nice stainless system on my ET that I will be selling soon. It has a reverse cone mega badly welded to it, I have made Harris silencer copies in the past, but they were a lot of work.
