use L valves (think bandit same but having memory fade with bandit stuff) obviously you use all L retainers, collets etc or it wont work will it.

Use m rocker shaft, re drill oil feed holes, remove the springs and make spacers to centralize rockers that are tight fit to stop oil bleed.

But cam shafts are different thrust face lengths head requires welding and milling really not easy job.

Are you using big bore, porting, big valves, cam etc if so you may see a gain with good set up perhaps, if not why do it.

As long as valve seats are good, L lengths valves should do the job, hardest job is valve springs need ape to get base pressure but ive snapped so many only any good on drag strip, Ive ended up using new stock l springs with base shim which can be thick as they close to coil clearance anyway depending on cam obviously and just change them every one or two years depending on hours of usage.

Got a supposedly good head on the way,so long as the journals are good thats,all that really matter as the rest is junk except xhaust seats maybe.Gonna get Phill joy to sort the cam locating faces +hard weld rockers...But i could really do with a shit set of cams as a pattern for peace of mind.can anyone give me a list of suitable cams to pik from,ie 750l/m the same spacing? 1100wp look likely jus dont know without having them in front of me so anyone know?thanks
