Replacing rear Wheel With CBR 900 Rear Result of "Wheel / Bodywork Poll" Need to use Caliper hanger from a Bandit too accommodate the bigger disc. Had a mockup today to find the caliper bracket locks tight, ie it does not swing Freely had a look at the Exploded diagram and the seems not to be a bush inside the hanger as there is with the GSXR one. So how do you get the bracket to swing freely?

I would of thought you will have to get another bush made up to suit the replacement hanger, any engineering shop or someone with a lathe would sort that for you. The bush shown in your pic is also a spacer which prevents the hanger locking up

The torque arm is bolted to the caliper and the swinging arm, so when the spindle is tight nothing m8ves, on my 7/11 the torque arm is bolted to the frame so it all has to move with the wheel going up and down....l

Cheers for That! Got it Now!
The caliper on a Bandit don't need to move as the torque arm is attached to the Swing arm, and moves as one unit, were as the slabby arm is attached to the frame so bracket needs to move as the swingarm moves up and down.
So Cant fit smaller disc caliper won't clear Wheel Hub
So Possible Remedies:
Find and fit Slingshot Caliper bracket. Get a Machine shop to fit bush in the bracket i have, As Already Suggested.
Anyone Know of Good Machine shop in Glasgow? And What would making a spacer and machining the bracket cost?

Yeah That looks Good, is that fitted to a Standard Bandit Caliper Bracket? It Defo Something i Will look at In The Future, But I Opens Another Bag Of Squirrels, Got To Buy The Caliper, a 220mm Disc, Build a Rose Jointed Torque Arm, With The Cash Constraints at the Moment i think my Solution May Be; A 25mm Blacksmith Drill and a Top Hat Style Washer.
