If anyone is thinking about a front end change , I'm yet to change the stem but just bolted all the front end together it's fireblade 2008 1000 stepped yoke set zx6r 2008 radial forks and calipers , busa front wheel ,gsxr 600 discs ,spindle off zx6r fits the busa bearings will just need 2 spacers making for either side of the wheel calipers will need spacing to the discs only down side no speedo drive . All the above was a bargain

I will have a look see what I can do but I was going put a speed sensor on the front sprocket and try put a electronic speedo in the old clocks in theory lol Good theory. The problem is getting the digital speedo the right size. Only one company in the UK sells 90mm self contained digital speedos and they are £170 plus delivery. Most OE speedos on bikes aren't self contained. It's just one PCB for the speedo, rev counter and idiot lights, so you can't just change the speedo out. Triumph make self contained speedos for certain models and they may fit, they look like they should but I never got one to measure. The other alternative is to buy a clockset from a bike with a digital speedo. I was looking at Bandit Mk2 ones, but they are getting on for a one-er on ebay as well. Jonny

I was faced with the same dilema on my ET. I couldn't find a way round it even after talking to people who make instruments and renovate and upgrade speedos, guages, etc. My goal was to keep the original instrumentation, headlight surround, etc. Motogadget finally came to the rescue and I chose their rather cool, albeit expensive, multiview mirror option and dead cool it looks too IMO motogadget.com/en/multiview.html

Hayabusa front wheel, GSXR750M usd's, needed to machined the GSXR speedo drive, left hand fork leg lower & wheel, let me keep the EFE clocks using a speedo cable driven from the font wheel, works well so far, no problems.
