I'll be sending a load of stuff for powder coat soon so I'll be working on my motor (11m) It needs a bit of welding on the head so I was going to strip the head send it to be welded, then reseat the valves and fit new seals etc, I was thinking while I'm there is it worth me getting some 12 pistons and boring the barrels to suit and then skim the head to get compression back up or should I leave it alone?? Can't decide if its worth it, I don't want to spend a fortune and I'm not after major power but just thinking while its apart or am i best just cleaning up the pistons and leaving as 1127? Cheers guys

Leave the 1127 pistonks in there, not mutch to be gained by fitting b12,s. or go the whole hog and go 81mm high comp and have lots of donkeys

Cheers fbob, I'd love to go 81 high comp but alas I dont have any big slugs or wads of cash lying about so think I'll leave it for now lol, what about head skim? That worth doing you think?

No no no, you both got it wrong.
You need Hayabusa pistons. And then a nice little turbo to compensate for the lack of compression.
