Hi, I just fitted Racetech ones in SV650 forks. Thanks for the reply, Were the easy to fit? What did you do with the Springs did you buy Up-rated / Progressive ones? Did you have to Shorten the Springs? How easy are they to adjust?

Installation was quite easy but instructions were rather generic. So I had to dig up SV650 specific tricks and initial settings from forums. There were a couple of tricks with the SV that weren't in the instructions.
I had progressive springs installed earlier. I shortened the spring spacers by length of the emulator body as it goes on top of the spring preload.
I haven't done any much adjustments yet and only a short test ride after installation. Adjusting seems to be quite straightforward though a bit laborious. To adjust the valve you need first remove the spring and spacer, fish out the emulator unit from the bottom of fork leg, make adjustments and finally put all back together. I think tuning will be relatively easy if you get initial settings close enough. But if you start far off it can get quite frustrating. I think I got it pretty close from the beginning but probably I will reduce compression damping a bit before next ride on springtime.

This has been a Great Help as I don't have Spring spacers so i would have to get Shorter Springs, as i don't want to buy Springs then shorten them. Cheers for this G.
