Hi mates first merry Christmas and all the best. Now the question: can I powdercoat the valve cover or just painting?

Both possible, paint preferable, due to masking and less hassle

I just search on the web for masking before powder coating and its not worth so painting is the way to go.

Had mine powder coated by a very reputable firm, got it back, they hadn't masked any of the oil ways, took hours of cleaning then finally when blowing dry with my air line a big lump of the powder blew off. . . . They re did it for free but finish was crap, eventually sorted after the third time. Usually thisss company are great but not this time.

Pete Matthews got mine done. Lovely original looking crinkle finish powdercoat, with TSCC highlighted. MMMMmmmmm!
