There was a 'how to' posted on the old site, started by Banoffee I think,on how to de-restrict Jap import 750 Slabbies. The restriction was in the wiring either to the speedo or tach. I don't suppose anyone saved it? Or...failing that, any chance of one of the Mods pulling it off the old site, and stickying it???

Hi all. Couldn't help but pitch in. Agree with Kokolis but its not the tacho but the speedo where the wires are. Just did this before Christmas. Just pull the two wires out and tape them off. So simple. What the article below doesn't tell you is that the original headers are also restrictive, the ID of these were much smaller than export models. Chances are that if you have the original pipe, that could also cause a 'strangulation' issue. I fitted a Micron. Much more free flowing compared to the OE JDM pipe on mine (acronym mad here lol). Here's that link. didier.clergue.free.fr/gsxr/docspdf/bridage_gsxr_oss.pdfMaybe someone could get it back on the site if its not there. Anyway really glad that I am finally able to help someone as I am forever on here asking for help myself! Cheers!

The only restriction on the slabby 11 was the muffler exit, them were in 28mm, 34mm (common) and 38mm (italian)
