Hey all, me again lol Was wondering if anyone knew of the differences (parts wise) between the MK1 and MK2 600 bandits? Been looking at a few Part #'s etc.. on Alpha sports and robinsons, Not much seems shared, how different are they? the front mudguard / forks seem different as the mudguard mounts differently, I was surprised the carb's have different needle / slide numbers, did they change carb model or something? Obviously I know of the cosmentic differences, such as frame shape / infill panels etc.. on the sides, was more wondering about the mechanical differences / similarities.. I ask cus I came across what looks like a bit of a bargain, almost original looking MK2 600 the other day which has apparently "carb / coil issues" and a sticky clutch... Doesn't seem like too drastic of problems to fix, and the price is right, so can ya guys help me out once more? Cheers all

Front ends are different but the swap in complete, carbs are different but I'm buggered if I can remember why, coils are the same I believe As far as I know the rest is cosmetic but I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm

basically only the engine is the same.
Everything else is more or less different, wheels, brakes, suspension, electrics, bodywork, etc.

Is the frame prettymuch same dimensions as the Mk1 (swingarm pivot width etc..) Just trying to get a feel for how much can (or can't) be changed / played with on them etc Cheers
