Wow. If you ever read it again, look for 'GSX'...

This is going cause a divide between members yet again very odd being as we all ride suzukis and normally it's us against the world can't we have sub forums as we do hate to accommodate the Suzuki family or is it going to be blonde hair blue eyes brigade

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I lurked on the old site from time to time but never joined as times it seemed over policed to me. The way I see it is that if you're into older suzukis then that's your thing. Join the new old site and have a go, see what happens. You might like it. The fact that I currently ride a late 90's bandit shouldn't come into it. It doesn't deter from the fact that I still enjoy old Skool Suzukis and at some point I will purchase one and when I do I will restore/modify/tune it as I see fit. It will be my bike and if other people find it interesting then that's a bonus. Until the I will strive to learn more and make a few mates on the way. Maybe I've missed the point entirely but I for one am looking forward to the new site. The old blood and newbies and hopefully a nice new beginning for OSS.

On OSS we discuss OSS bikes. Everybody is welcome to join, no matter what they ride or if they even ride at all.

Correct, K-series GSXRs are not old skool as far as OSS is concerned.

its happening. It's not happening to you personally. The URL oldskoolsuzukis.info will point to a new website on July 6th. There is more to it than a forum. There will be forum but there will also be news , technical articles and the vault containing old info dug out from the original code and files. Believe me when I say we have not just been on Facebook . No one is out to bully anyone . You don't have to even own a bike to enjoy the site. I understand that you feel apprehensive about a change but we should avoid drawing battle lines too early. Let's hope nobody feels left behind . We wouldn't be here working with Joris and Ash if we didn't recognise what they have done. Let's just give it our best shot. eh? Nobody is going to die or get injured. There are a lot scarier things out there than this.
