I managed to squeeze a std curved rad under the seat with an R6 fan - its not ideal but with a thermostatic switch set low it may run more but it works ok.

I think that cooler won't be a problem, cos my driving will be mostly... mmh ... driving. I think there will be a lot of air flow when you are driving faster than 60 km/h. For the traffic lights situations I have the fan. If it still sucks then I have to think a better solution. Those universal fans are dirt cheap at *bay, I might try one of them. Anyone ever used these? Bought these for easier assembly but I bet that you make ten swivel seal fittings in the same time. It took ages to get one fitted. My arm is wrecked

LIKE YOUR BIKE -and very nice thread too-just out from hospital and full of sedatives -so nice reading for me- -oil cooler-on the BRITTEN racer it was found that the air velocity beneath the tail piece was swirling-it was measured to be small% faster than forward speed-SO-it was a good place to collect air to cool the radiator and oil coolers-which are in the tail of the BRITTEN-it was worked out with science and big calculators that if the air speed around the rear of the bike was faster-using it to cool would allow use of a smaller area radiator/oil coolers-naca ducts and louvres WOULD LOOK DAMN SEXY on anything-but on a EFE dripping with bruise , as yours does they would not only help cool your oil [you will need this with the big block]it will also drop the panties off any rightous female within 100KMS- i like the way its all made by you and your friends or sourced from suppliers with a track record in correct care and feeding of these great old bikes- crack a beer-sit back and enjoy -i will ! pictures pictures pictures- the BRITTEN-

The awesome Britten is awesome. Even though it's watercooled and not a Suzuki, it's awesome.

You're using an ES frame for it?

Don't know the exact model but it is something from early eighties Gsx 1100. So there is no pressure to keep it original

Engine is now disassembled, sorry for the blurry pics and there it is on the shelves Have been busy with my new job but now there is time to focus to this. Next the cases will go to machinist to get room for the cylinder sleeves. Bought a basic Tig welder. It is just dc and there is no fancy adjustments but it is good for frame and exhaust manifold jobs

Did a mock up for outboard alternator. Only place where it fits is the ignition pick up side. Tried to fit it very close to the engine to clear the exhaust. Oil scavenge pump. Should handle the job

Tack welded wastegate exhaust pipes today. Sadly I did not have 2,5" pipe for the turbo. But it will be sorted soon.
