on the exhaust manifold ? or the whole thing in general ? whole thing.. Little way off at the moment . New exhaust manifold with external waste gate is in the process , new boost pipe with wiggins connecters , hopefully will be able to get the money together to get a racefit exhaust system early next year and new paint work .

The stack rev counter has been changed . Previously i was running a stack rev counter with a playback function , once stopped the last 25mins of riding could be viewed . All well and good but the gauge has an internal battery that holds the program . If the bike is not used for long periods then the battery can fail . Only way to get it working again is send it back to stack and £100 later it returns with new battery and reprogrammed . Because of this problem changed over to a bog basic unit .

Ok last update picture for the moment . Wanted to make a new inlet manifold with ally boost pipes and wiggin quick release connectors . Nothing wrong with the present set up but hoping to make it so i can remove the inlet/carb bank easily with just dis connecting the boost pipe fuel line and throttle cable . Boost pipe took a few evenings to draw out the paper patterns and cut each piece so it made 90 degrees . As i type this the pipe is being welded to the inlet .

I'm wondering... when titanium is a bitch to machine, then why not use water cutting and use machining only for the finish on surfaces and holes?

As im changing the inlet manifold over the winter i need another dump valve . Initial plan was to cut the bailey one off the original manifold but im going to sell the old exhaust manifold , boost pipe and inlet manifold so needs to remain complete . Purchased a turbo smart dump valve to match the external waste gate . Had one of these on my sierra cosworth for a couple of years and worked well they have made the design smaller now but should be more that up to the job of handling 10/14 psi .
