Hi, 1 thing im glad oss is back in the air!
I have a qustion maybe this is done before or isnt possible... I have gsxr 1100w jugs and i want to bore them out to 79mm. The sleeves have to be replaced cos of thin wall.. Can i take stock 1127 oilcooled sleeves, and moddem out to fit the watercooled jugs an crankcase? or do i have to replace them with new oversized ones from wiseco sleeves?
thx guys!

Hi! Most likely, these sleeves can be used.
But with this volume may be a problem ....
I faced a lot of problems ... however, my engine is not the typical ..

I've got a 1.2mm (I think) copper base gasket. Had it made at a local engineering place. Needs a clean up on the edges but good to go if it's the right size?

Cylinder spacers shouldn't be hard to make. Every company with a laser or water cutting machine should be able to do it. It's quite cheap, too. I work at a company which has watercutting machine and I have even worked with it. Can be used for cutting wide range of materials, like metal, plastic, stone, wood. It wouldn't be a problem to make spacers if I had a CAD drawing and some material of the right thickness.

I will ask R&D at my work. If they can make a cad drawing in there free time, and ask if they know a good laser/watercut company nearby. I need the sleeves first so i can determine what the diameters will be. Thank mates!

and what pistons do you have?
spacer can be purchased at cometik. or cut with a laser. I did try to find the file.
