I advise you to do the compression ratio of about 8.5 Use MTC pistons and spacer.
Nitro, and what temperature of air after turbine at you?

Can only get up to 98 octane here, standard is 95!
I've e-mailed JE to see about making a set of pistons, gone with 76mm and 8.5:1 comp ratio so I'll see how much they are going to cost.
Edit; just seen your post Pasis, I'll see how much the JE ones will be and compare that to the MTC ones and a spacer. The MTC ones are 77mm though and its possible I may have issues if I run high boost, they may be fine but if I can leave an extra 0.5mm wall thickness on the liners it'll be better. Depends on the price really!
Cheers

There are no 76mm piston for w engines in the cataloges. Alse the cometics gasket are min for 77mm. So I took a OEM gasket and worked it a little bit. Alex, never meassured any temps. I like go safest way with CR, advance etc... But interesting to know is it in any case!

Hmm, $800 for a set of JE pistons, rings and pins depending on what features I want.
The MTC ones are $580 plus the spacer gasket so I'll probably go with the JE ones as I can't see me wanting that many 'features' on my pistons!

Well JE are great with customer service, very short basic replies that don't really answer my questions.
E-mailed MTC and completely different, very helpful. Their 77mm kit is $610 and with the spacer plate I've already got it should put the comp ratio at around 8.5:1 so that route looks better now. It's going the extra 1mm but I'm not going to worry too much.
The KPMI valves are on the bay for slightly cheaper than KPMI's site, can't seem to order direct off the site though... I've sent them an e-mail to see if they sell the valve springs on their own, they have a kit listed at $583 but I only really want the springs. Genuine Suzuki ones are £10 each!
The list is coming together and I may have parts arriving soon!

$153 for the KPMI valve springs, bit cheaper than genuine and should hopefully be better!

I have an extra set of new valves KPMI standard size. For the watercooled? How much are you looking for them?

Anyone tried Ferrea valves?

Looked into them and seen them on ebay but Roger Upperton and Pasis say KPMI are better so that's what I went with.

I do not think that Ferrer or APE inferior. When I wanted to buy a kit, do not any of these three producers did not have to have all of the valves. KPMI made them the fastest. I am satisfied with the quality of valves. On my 1200 engine had a problem because of the high compression ratio, and not enough thorough check, exhaust valves, touch to pistons, the rev limiter was 12,000 rpm and Yosh 2st cams and springs and retainers. As such, I have twice participated in drag racing competition, all was remained whole and undamaged.
