Piecing together a gsxr 1100w engine in a 1993 gsxr 600 frame, right now I have a 2001 gsxr 1k header on but it is really tight to the frame, can probably make it work but....... I know there is some mixing and matching with the rf900 head so was wondering how the rf900 header matches to the 1100 engine?

I am in US, would hate to see shipping and probably more than I can spare at this time. Might end up having to make something work with the 1K I have, would just like a little more room around the frame.

rf900 header should cope with 1100w.

Rf900 header is very restrictive i would not go that way.... but it fits on a 1100w

Isnt RF900 header quite the same as 95 onwards 1100w, just without extra outlet on the left midpipe, for left exhaust? The extra bullshit in the chromed pipe can be cut out and welded back together if wanted to make it more flowing. Jst like I did, when I converted my stock exhaust to normal 4-2-1.
Why not use stock 1100 header? It suits all frames - 1100, 750, 600. Just weights a lot.
I scored some titanium 4-2-1 headers in ebay. Dont know what make they are, look similar to akra but they're not. I wasn't even 100 % sure they fit 1100w, as seller himself was confused and told it'll fit 750, 1000 and 1127 from 90s onwards. Ad said that they fit 750 and 1000 and came from a W model. Anyway I'm waiting for the package to arrive to see if they are what I wanted or not.

All other than air/oilcooled is called 'W' what i know off.... the 1100w stock exhaust is restrictive too! but better than te rf because of the dual outlets. look for aftermarket bigger tubes better flow. some times they come cheap on ebay.. most olskool suzuki riders want oilboilers..

I have the gsxr1k on there and got it started for the first time today. I think the 1K will work OK with a little more massaging. Felt like a kid on Christmas morning when she busted off!

Now fighting with the petcock, ran it off of a bottle today because the petcock has set so long and froze up. The mounting looks very similar to a Bandit 1200 mounting, wondering if the single out let would restrict flow badly if the B12's petcock fit?
