I'd run a cream stripe either side of the green strip on the seat . That way the continuity from the tank would continue, you can then keep the alloy seat. Not sure about increasing the length of the cream panel. It is a cafe racer after all and looks right, but may be different when on the frame and the forks are in. I do like that green though. Might pinch for my next project

make the cream bit on the seat unit a bit smaller (slightly more green around it, just like the fuel tank) and it would look much better IMO

Been tied up with decorating kids rooms so no spanner time or owt' else to be fair!!! Gagging to crack on to get motor in and rolling chassi but will ave to wait GRrrrrr. How ever managed to heat up my REARSET hanger in the rivet oven at work for 10mins then in hyd press with gloves lol!!! 475.degrees eak. Anyways it's straight now at last just needs re polish . Also foot controls were off 750m fighter and fooked bushings sloppy big time so again heated up in oven and pressed out simples job and I thought about new bronze bushes then found some special nylon we had for Galley fittings in fokkerz we do turned up easy and self lubeing that will do a treat for me. Should have my carbon carb tops underway this week too , if all goes well plug is made and were going to vac bag some single skin a/c spec stuff so will be strong enough for carbs . And seat pattern is made also just need leather cutting an stitching in dark brown to contrast the tan colour leather.
