Had bit of look at forks and Lh fork wAs leaking on bouncing so pulled it apart tonight, ordered seals , and dust seals etc oil 7.5 w . The internals are very good I've had four or so sets of these over the years and these so far are best ones! All the adjusters are free and moving which is rare! And I've given them a soak in some Ac90 overnight to flush out any nastys .hopefully get them reassembled by Friday and in.

That is proper cafe racer build! Plenty of GS going for cheap around here, I don't mind picking one of those later in one day.

Been a been a while as she's had me building kids bedroom stuff..... Yawn. So had trouble linking up front rear wheel alignment so now after a long day had got it sorted respaced and happy. So thought I'd tackle the rear torque arm firstly the link is from scrap aircraft parts, salvaged from metal bin at work. Titanium air starter tie rod, wait for it £400 eak..... But it's puka and adjustable the caliper is ebay find r1 2012 Big Bang caliper new £4.00 chopped bracket welded new spindle mount on and machined to suit, shaped and painted in enamel black looks great for what it cost!!! I used m6counter sunk headed high tesnsile bolts to attach it forflush clean look and no nasty huge torque are hanging about winner.

Not really as having tough time at home just now just cannot get into the garage!!! Did weld exhaust today and going to wrap it tonight but found out my slabbie rear master is wrong way around for slingshot hangers?? Cock , so need a rear slingshot master cylinder urgently. Sunday May wire a bit but waiting for some new mini connectors for my controls just now! Shame really I built my slabbie turbo in two days (when I didn't have kids) lol.

Last night I thought I'd try the head light unit! And it looks ok black rim and refurbed, fitting kit is fairly good but not 100% sold on fork clamps they look to showy in my mind, chain fitted too and chain gaurd?Small progress yup but not enough! Had to mot my cub today which it allways passes lol so at least I'm back on two wheels for work. Rear brake light switch is an issue as cannot see what slingshot type REARSET uses to pull the switch spring down,
