Frasers was started in 1971 by a guy who liked to fix motorbikes in his spare time, started doing it on his own as a business and then got a disused shop in Barton Street, Gloucester, and became Frasers Motorcycles. He now has a large premises on Bristol Road and I tend to use them when I need odds and ends as they are so friendly and helpful. E.g. when I went to get new piping for the fuel tank I asked for braided as that was what had been used previously. When the assistant said they didn't have braided in stock she got 'Dave' from the workshop to come and give me some advice. This was at the time I was trying to remember where all the pipes when from the tank to the carb, vacuum and overflow etc.
I found the sales guys just the same, always got time to have a chat even when I've said that I don't have the money to purchase a new bike!
Everyone has their favourite supplier but after being to a couple of others I know I'll be sticking with Frasers.
Having said that I will probably use Mantra Motorcycles, Kingsholm (next to the Rugby stadium), for major things and MOT's etc. as he was also very accommodating when I popped in to see his workshop.
