You're welcome! Were can I purchase a Newtronic Ignition? I believe Newtronic is made by AutoCar. I ordered mine from the UK. It was offered for sale on eBay. The Ignition was plug and play and cost me $260.00 U.S. shipped. Definitely worth the money and tuning was a snap. I mounted the box in the GT's tail.

Thanks but looks like Newtronic isn't making those units anymore.

Thanks but looks like Newtronic isn't making those units anymore. I just checked their page below and it is still listed but with a note that they are "redeveloping" the ignition. I purchased mine just a year ago. Sounds like they are going to make them even better. Mine has been great! I would give them a call just to make sure. www.newtronic.co.uk/newtronic/system/index.html

That's a lovely bike mate....Well done (you're lucky you don't live here in the UK....we pay $10+ a gallon for petrol....makes it expensive doing that sort of mileage on a 2-stroke)

You are correct, my GT 750 is a thirsty beast. I can tune it to get 28MPG, but what's the fun in that? Bad Buffalo runs best at an average of 23MPG with huge tire shredding jets in it.

I wouldn't call it 23 MPG, I'd call it 23 GPM ( Grins per mile)
