hang my head in shame ....
my rd 250 aircooled 250 dx hybrid (modern front and rear yzf 125r and clocks )
was on my bike ramp , so i couldnt kick it over to start it , so my mate was on the left of the bike hand on throttle and i pumped the kick starter with my left hand as i was on right side of bike ,
bike coughed , my mate revved , the kick start was ejected by the spinning of clutch basket ,
and i got caught between the clutch case and the kick starter , felt instantly sick and watched my wrist start to swell
went to the hospital after three days of saying "its not broke " to be told it is, so that was that
the rd 250 is now called the wrist breaker and is parked in my mates garage still 12 months later under a bike cover
white with red speed blocks paintwork done ready to finish as usual .

We learn by our mistakes, and I'd guess you won't be making that one again. smiley-sick015 Could be a new thread " Self inflicted bike injuries " Hope it don't hurt too much in the upcoming freezing winter.
