*soft southerner alert* After thirty something years of suffering frozen paws on the daily commute I decided to treat myself to some heated gloves. I'd tried heated grips and handlebar muffs in the past and found them pretty useless. The choice was between Exo II, Gerbing and Keis but the first two were ruled out after being told about lots of returns.(By the dealer so could be a load of bollocks). Shame, because they both looked better than the Keis ones. Tried 'em out this morning, temp 6c, and on the highest setting of three they weren't exactly too hot. Warmest hands I've had for a long time but I don't think I'll be using the two lower settings. Let's see if they can cut it when it gets proper cold. £150, so if they turn out to be no good, they'll be going back.

As it's all got a bit ........ ....over in the general section I update this with a little trepidation as these gloves aren't made by Suzuki or old. Anyway, this morning 2c and arrived at work with non frozen hands.Ends of the thumbs were a bit chilly but I can live with that. The only problem I've had is the cable connector from the battery to the gloves comes apart a bit too easily so I had to put a bit of tape round it. So far so good. No more frozen pinkies for me
