Yep , 4 of us going , but I'm a bit disappointed that Mickey Dunlop won't be there, not sure if Simon Andrews will be up to it either after his accident at Le Mans . Still , Jamie Whitham & McPint should be good to listen to.

If current gossip is to be believed, Michael Dunlop's place will be filled by Connor Cummins.

much as i would like to see Dunlop being competitive, cracking chance for Connor IMO..................
he was on lap record pace just before his monster crash and seems to be back to about the same level

Hopefully he'll do well with this chance if it comes off. The crash still seems to be nagging away in his head at the moment, but he couldn't want for a better opportunity to shake off the doubts.
As for MD, sounds like he has a lot going on in his head at the moment, and that's not a good thing when you're racing.

What did you think of it then? Was hoping you guys would spot me with my OSS hoody on.
Was a bit disappointed really, could have had a lot more of the chat as those guys have plenty of stories to tell. But had a good evening with a few beers so not too bad.

Don't forget the Chinese Pete. £8:95 for four courses of very tasty MSG was a bargain. And it was followed by squirty cream and orange jelly and washed down with a couple of pints of Boddingtons. Nothing wrong with the '70s

Thought it was pretty good , but as you say , it could have been better if they had allowed more time for the audience questions .The auction was a bit disorganised , but apparently Nick Jefferies didn't even know he was conducting the auction until they told him at the interval , so you can't really blame the bloke for not being up to speed with things.
It was an unexpected bonus seeing Hutchy there, he certainly seemed to be walking ok considering he nearly lost his leg. If they add an extra hour next year as suggested , they will hopefully give the riders more time to talk.
