Nope....it's dipped and stripped
watch the little cartoon on the website
had 2 motors done by bead/sand blasting by other firms which reduced them to scrap.
Ribble do a fantastic job and after cleaning they coat it in something that prevents rust but can be painted directly onto..
thoroughly top job

wasn't suggesting any form of grit blasting.................. we have had lots of success with vapour/soda blasting and now get pretty much every engine done in this form

Nice enough but time consuming and not cheap??
Never had one soda blasted so can't comment

this was around £50-60 depends on how bad the original is to a degree........it was pretty rough before hand
