You can still the yoshi rep seat units from ragged edge racing sell that one and for a few quid more get a yoshi one. I think there about £80 ish

The brackets are fairly straight forward to make if you go down that route. If not like the rest say go standard

Stuey, I see what you mean about the seat being to low. Just been sat on the bike and riding position is way to cramped so I'm going to go with the Yoshi one from ragged edge I won a set of GSXR 1000 K1 exhaust headers off ebay and I'm picking them up tomorrow so will get them fitted asap. Then I'll have work out how I'm going to get a catch tray fitted

If ye need a help with the brackets I've got a fair idea of what they looked like and they bolt onto the subframe to get yer height all ye need ins some race seat foam I will see if I can dig out some pics on my old laptop dude and post them up for ye cheers stu

The downpipes should fit nicely after a bit of heat and some force applied (according to what I've read on here) Stuey..........you're a bad influence I've been looking at that Yoshi seat unit and now I'm looking at race fairings as well. I know that this fairing is from a later bike but I reckon it would fit with a bit of work?

I had a yoshi fairing with the vents you can still get them again from ragged edge lol also Simon Francis sells heat shields for £20 for the motor/ carbs and if ye look on demon tweaks there's AMA air scoops for the side of the fairing

Just a quick update as I've been busy enjoying the Christmas festivities (hic) Got the GSXR 1000 K1 Ti headers lined up with the exhaust ports but pipes 2 and 3 are catching on the frame crossmember I reckon if I compress the pipes slightly where they touch the frame and also file the edge of the frame to a more rounded profile they should fit ok. I'll get the pipes heated up again over the weekend and pull them backwards and upwards. I'm off to pick up a slabby race fairing and seat unit tomorrow so once I have that I can work out how far I need to raise the exhaust. Happy New Year all

Well after getting stuck in a traffic jam for hours I finally got to pick up my new fairing and seat unit (Cheers Moe) Looks great and I can't wait to get it fitted. I've dropped the seat unit into place and I think it looks much better than the other one.

On my bike above in the link I found it better to heat exhaust then leave it to cool while held in place by a car jack
