Cheers all for the advice/comments, keep 'em coming, its food for thought Well after an afternoon spent heating and bending with a scissor jack and ratchet straps I finally got the pipes into a position I was happy with. Just got to remember not to pick up hot pipes as I now have 3 burnt fingers I also got round to raising the seat unit a bit. I'm happy with the way it sits now and sat on the bike, the seating position feels just right Off out for a well deserved beer or three now.................

Thought I'd ressurect this build diary as work has now started again. My mum passed away unexpectedly around this time last year which kinda knocked the wind out of my sails but life goes on and getting this bike built and going racing is my aim for this year. I'll get some pics and updates done over the next few days

just read this thread and liking the newer seat unit! suits the bike alot better than the unatec one Keep focussed on the bike and dont lose interest and you will be scraping knee sliders on the bike before you know it!

That's an excellent fit on the pipes. Remember doing a set on mine and how much they don't want to bend, even when cherry red.

Cheers sibag, I got them to sit under the engine ok but I couldn't get them seal up to the exhaust ports so they've gone to one side for a bit and I've got a Micron exhaust I managed to pick up for a reasonable price on there now. I've also swapped the B6 front end for a B12 front end plus a few other bits n pieces. I'll get some pics and a proper update done this weekend......

Like the work on the pipes. It's a shame, that they doesn't seal up.
Can you give further information how do you bend the pipes?
Has the header been mounted to engine while bending, or do you've made a fixture the header was adapted to?
Like the titan headers a lot, thinking about using them for my next slabby project.
Thanks
