TEAPOT CABLE CLUTCH CONVERSION FOR EARLY 750/1100 If you have one of the original Gixxers and have a damaged master cyclinder or just want to have the convienence of a cable clutch, you can fit the lever, cable and engine sprocket cover from a GSX 600 F on the GSX-R series engines. The sprocket cover from the GSX-F has the cable mechanism in place of the hydraulic mech on the early Gixxer. Once you change out the sprocket cover (keep and use the stock actuating rod) just use the Teapot cable and the lever of your choice and presto!! Cable Clutch!
This is an article from the old oss site. Not done this myself.

I have just done this, a teapot 750 (same as 600) on the Powerscreen (GSX1100F) engine.
I use the cable from the GSX-F, and the clutch lever from a Slingy 750, fits perfectly. The actuator rod needs shortening a few mm though.

There was a centre mark in the end of the shaft from machining, I used that as a centre to drill and tap a 6mm thread and bolted it on, simple...
