This thread gives me inspiration for my build, only a smaller turbo. What fuel management are you using? Which throttle bodies are you using? Great build all around though, that thing is wicked!

I see. I'm trying to figure out how to convert to efi, so far im thinking i can swap to a newer set of throttle bodies and injectors, and use a microsquirt

Saturday was one of my saddest day ever. Happy it got a new home and not left to sit in the shop. Sad that I put so much in making one of my best creations . I bought a bare frame from Dave Earl and it took two years of saving and building to finish it off. Started with a GS based engine and then went to the GSXR engine< wicked little motor. It was heck of a lot of fun to ride, My best lap in ¼ with the little motor 1255cc was 8:04 162 off the gas at the stripe with my 255lb load in the seat. I ran a 36x36 square Nos tune with a Schinzts Pro2-Box with 7 3/4psi on the fuel pump and NOS Supply Fang nozzles. Engine is now running a 1346 kit / bigger head / bigger cams. But only got a relatively few pass on the 1/8. Before I wrecked my back and was off work for 4 ½ months. As I was told one day you would wake up and your DragBike Racing days would be over as a rider . I thought Nah wouldn’t happen, But that’s how it went . Could think to have some one else sit on the seat and ride it for me . But all think come to a end sometime .Any way on to new endeavors, this what I am doing now . Dirt Kart racing open unlimited class Kart . It has a CRF450 Honda for power bought a E-bay frame for $110 and went from there . Only new items were the rear brakes and seat steering wheel. Built all the rest .

Mate well I don't want say it but we get old and those of us that have led crazy lives things wear out I wish we could put grease nipples on joints , my knee is bolloxed to many times it's faced the wrong way racing two strokes and never wanted to touch the brakes and always thought I can make this , it never happened so I can't ride sport bikes for long only for half hour before it seizes but fuck it that cart looks great I saw a hillclimb one on you tube with a cr 500 in it was mental lol

This my buddy Shane's bike built his own frame molded the body. Bult his own EFI unit from Summit mag. It was one the first Funny Bikes to run a Turbo Busa . Doesn't look like all the sink bug bodies that are out there now.

I wondered if it ever got finished.

That's a done photo personal issues and was never fully developed. It has to be one of the most bad to the bone FB ever. Arron Pine did the riding for most of development. I think it ran a best of 7:0 some thing before Shane parked it. It is now owned by a guy in Texas. He changed out to a GS and is very good at blowing those very well. I believe the Busa engine in a FB could be a very stout package. Billy Vose is the champion of those engines. and Seb of NLR could be a guy to make all that power come together in a awesome combo. It will take a very deep pocket to make that happen. I hate to say that though.

It´s an Ignijet ECU with GSXR 1000K1 TBs and injectors - nothing special. The Original injector just manage the idle and cruising. WOT only manege the sec injector alone (Bosch 1000cc).

Nice! do those throttle bodies bolt up or do they need to be machined to fit? and which year TB's did you use? i cant seem to find much/any info online on EFI conversions for the water-cooled gsxr's
