Polishing is a Zen thing, only bother when I can't do anything else. (Was waiting on my sprocket) TEC shocks yes, can't fault them yet, about 2000 miles in, but I'm no hero. Had to extend them by an 1 1/2" for this arm.Would recommend for the price. Still going to put Hagon Nitros an the Kat though..

Chain run sorted, there's only about 1mm clearance against the frame so there's bound to be slight contact with chain movement but nothing major.

There is a build thread, warts and all on Oldskoolperformance.com, and a curtailed version here abouts. Big bhp Katanaha. As you can see it has the wrong motor for this site, I was a little bit naughty....
And it WILL run in the 8.5 class.....
Eventually

Eventually Gonna take a good look at that build thread in more detail this week... I had a quick nosey and, I hate to say it, but I can totally relate to the mishap with yer cider fella... did exactly the same a couple o' years ago... only in my case it was cheap Tesco whisky Any idea when the Katana will be ready to race?

There really isn't much left to do on the Kat,and I have no idea what the block is. Fear possibly. Had a bit of an off last time I raced. I'm going to sort the ignition pick ups today, spacers and block off all the unnecessary holes in the throttle bodies. A little bit left to do on the loom next week. I'm not going to put a deadline on it, done that too often before and I'm held in a certain amount of ridicule (jokingly) in many quarters for the amount of time this had taken. I have completed several other bikes in the meantime.
