Took the Harris up to Crail dragstrip yesterday. Weather was fantastic. First time i've done anything with this bike so all new. Took a bit of practice to get it off the line coz its a lot higher and shorter than the Steelheart drag bike i have. Was running 10psi boost and got a 10.6@136mph. I built the engine for 15psi so lots more to come.

Cheerz chaps Ash-Theres pics of the Steelheart further down this page. MDM- It was the first 'Thrash' of the year so about 170 cars and 6 bikes but, loads more bikes turn up as the weather heats up. Ali Norval came up to see the Harris and told me he will be announcing the dates for the Scottish Drag Bike Club season very soon. He's hoping to get a full weekend organised as part of the seasons racing so that'll get messy And I'll hopefully get Veggie Daves Steelheart into the nines!! "More Nitrous Captain!!" smiley-shocked003 kitkat chap- Crails surface is an old RAF runway, the grip/surface is not the best in the world, track is bumpy but it is our only strip and everybody is on an even footing. Just need to adjust for the conditions like everywhere else. Keep an eye out on Facebook for Scottish Drag Bike Club

Kitkat - the biggest thing about Crail, for me anyway, was the way that the track runs slightly downhill (or appears to anyway), but looks as though the braking area is the beach... They used to run the other way, inland, when I first went about 12 years ago. Col - if Ali manages to sort a full weekend, I might see if I can make a trip, as it is I'm hoping to get North of the border in Springtime, as I wanna point my Canon at various things (hint, hint)
