OK for all those that know the black art of making sparks I need help I have a little 750ET and all was well for 5 mins then lost a spark on 2n3 so changed coil still no spark so swaped coils n no spark on other coil so as loom over 6months old thought break in wire but all good I have a live on orange n red and I have a pulse on black n blue so why no spark? im gona fuck the 750 motor off soon so dont want to spend much money on getting it going but want to have a play on it for a wile if I can so ya think it will be the pickups? if so dose anyone have pickups? or ya think it could be the CDI which is run on steam i think is that old if so dose anyone have a cdi? all parts will be returned / resold back when swaping motor (if ya want em back) n ya can even have motor n good condition micron pipe and any other bits ya want v cheap thanks in advance

test your loom with test lamp, check earth wire

as I said have live and pulse i have run a separate earth thinkin same thing what else could I be testing for not dead good on this kind of magic

with a good battery, ignition ON check the wires to the coils

Hi there don't know if I can help but if your getting a spark at one coil and not the other one cause could be a faulty pick up or wiring from pick up to cdi, seeing your getting a spark at one coil then cdi probably good. I take it you have a good 12 volt feed at each coil usually orange wire on suzukis the other wire is earthed by cdi unit,

Where do you live Dave - no location on your profile? I've got a spare ignition and CDI etc - I'm in Banbury if you live near you are welcome to use the parts to fix your bike.

This will surely cause a "no spark" condition. The pulse provides the intermittent ground needed to produce the spark.

did you sort this dave,i had the same problem on mine was running fine then just went onto 2 cylinders and I think that was 1 and 4,2 and 3 not firing,did the usual swapping coils over etc, tried a cdi box of my mate and it fired straight up on 4 cylinders,im in Barnsley if you need to borrow a cdi to try it
