following on from this thread old-skool-suzuki.proboards.com/thread/2660/hello-guess after getting Donald up & running (now has MOT/taxed & insurance the rear shock has started to leak oil so any suggestions as to a more modern shock or should i just look on flea bay for a straight swap (without the leak). cheers

I guess it's a case of cash available. Hagon is the budget choice but WP / Ohlins / Nitron etc. can be fitted. Maybe someone has a more cost effective solution or list of compatible shocks?

I hear good things about Gazi shocks. Several options available on their website. Currently using Hagons on my GS1000, and they are working very well. At least as good, if not better IMO, than the IKON (=Koni) shockies I've used on Katanas and GS1000's.

ive heard cb900 shocks will work and give a 'lift'. not sure though, anybody confirm this? how much taller are they? i want to jack up the ass of mine

CB shocks are 365 Mm compared to 335 on gs gsx, sharpens things up a bit
