How do folks. Looking for any info I can on how to find out what year my engine is in my bike. It's a chop with a water cooled 1100 lump in. The clutch is shagged and I need to have the year so I can get the right bits for it. Engine numbers start U708-****** if that helps.

If it is GSXR1100W series engine it will have 1074cc cast into the cylinder near the base. The whole series use the same clutch's. A close up photo of the engine (right or left on) would have been more usefull.

Probably 94 or 95 in my experience you can't look up the engine age from the engine number, only the chassis number.
As above before all the GSXR1100W use the same clutch.
Part numbers changed over the life of the bike (P-R different to STVW), but in practice they appear to be interchangeable (93 through 98).

Oil cooled 1100 clutch plates may fit, too.
