The engine is Bandit 1200 -01. I put my gearbox from -90 GSXR 1100 in it. The saft seems to be same, only difference is with the bearing.
What's wrong with the oilpump? They all seem to look same. There were no scratches in the gears.

Hayabusa, GSX-R 1100, Hayabusa 9,5:1 Wiseco A little helpful tool for oilchanging Small update to ignition. This should be a good choice with CBR/Hayabusa COPs. Now I don't have to play around with the dwell value.

I happen to have GSX-R 1100 -90 and Bandit 1200 -01 clutch at the same time so I took some pictures. To my own motor I took only the GSX-R basket and used B12 gear for alternator and oilpump. It has different teeth and it was not so heavy. I will upload the pictures later to Suzuki techical: sites.google.com/site/suzukitechnical/Nitro: The M&W is just for ignition and mega will still tell when to hit the spark. I had 4-channel Bosch amplifier and COPs. Not that I really needed the CDI, maybe it was and will rather be a curious test what will be the effects. I will run the M&W with Busa COPs, maybe later with Mercury "real" coils that are designed for capacitive ignition. The B12 plate is a little smaller Notice different teeth for oilpump. The B12 gears are also a bit lighter and narrower. I will use these B12 parts but GSXR11 basket.
Very very simple way to meter squishband. In this picture it's about 0,6 - 0,7mm. This was with: - B12 -04 cylinderhead - unmodified - B12 -01 cylinderblock - unmodified - Gen 1 Hayabusa conrods - Wiseco 9,5:1 Hayabusa (81mm) pistons - B12 crankshaft - 2mm spacerplate - Cometic 81mm multilayer headgasket

The Wiseco pistons are higher than the stock busa pistons, right? Otherwise you would get appr. 2mm of squish...

After engine damage of my Turbo-Bandit I also think it over to put in Busa gen.2 piston, because I stil have a set. But I don´t like them because of the big valve pockets :/

What exactly is that "helpful tool for [oil changing]"?

It's alive again! Mega needs a bit finetuning as the motor and ignition has changed during the winter. Testdriving can be finally started after many days with detailing work. Waterinjection tank still needs some attention as it's now a bit tricky to fill. "t3rse: What exactly is that "helpful tool for [oil changing]"? " It's a valve that you plug in to oilpan. When you want to change the oils, just plug the hose also in and you get oils out cleanly. I've now used it like 5 times and it really helps a lot! The picture is actually of the wrong plug..had to buy a second one with correct thread. For the comment of Hayabusa pistons. Now afterwards I see the new Wiseco Hayabusa turbopistons way more sensible option than some mysterious used busa pistons. There must be a reason why they sell used busa pistons I guess?

I think you can use used pistons. If you measure them before and check for massive wear... Don´t like the busa pistons anyway, coz of the big valve pockets. That´s why I use the GSX1400 ones.

We tried to measure the power today, but unluckily the very very old michelin pilot power wanted to be slippery everytime after 7500rpm so best we got was 277hp@7500rpm with 1.1bar boost. All in all the bike seems to work fine.
