Cheers thanks for rubbing that in! That's my triumph 955 with 1050 lump and running gear As for the Harris it's gunna get powder coated so I do need to do summat with that graze!! When u say leading What's involved?? Don't Weld it. I did something similar to my Harris Mag II when it told me to get off and walk at a little over a 70ish. Ouch. When I spoke to Harris about it they said the side rails are not structural. I sent them the frame and they built it up with Bronze Weld (AKA Brazing). If you weld it your wreck the tube as it will go brittle. My frame prob lost about 3mm depth of the one rail as it slid down the road. But all better now. Si..

Definitely don`t try to building it up with weld. It will distort the tube & would be a mission to blend back into the diameter of the tube. which would still look like a repair once its got a shinny coat of powder on it. Braze or lead are your options as they can cope with the heat of the powder coat & been softer than the tube & a lot easier to work & not damage the base tube.

Sorry ash if it's going anywhere it's coming to me, mite already owns one with a bandit 12 in and that one is in bits at my mates house last year he wanted 1500 for it and I just couldn't afford it!! Now he's flush and refuses to sell either of them
