Hi!
Has anyone tried to swap bigger pistons from another bike to -94 750 GSX-R.
I have tried to some research, but no luck. I know that JE Pistons has a big bore kit, but I'm trying to find another option.
Bigger piston with a same sized pin would be atleast in:
Suzuki 1989 GSX-R 750, 1981-1983 GS 1100
Kawasaki 1997-2001 ZRX 1100, 1990-2001 ZZR, 1995-1996 GPZ 1100, 1990-2000 ZX11
I would be happy to hear if anyone has tried fitting these in!

Thought the RF900 top end went on to a 750 water cooled motor giving a big increase in power??

I'm not sure but don't RF900 pistons also need rods from that motor? Otherwise it would be a nice upgrade.

I think the 900rf pistons work, the head is a downdraft type so that might not work so easily. If you do fit it you need to massage the coolant holes to fit doesn't take long with a dremmel, you just need to put a gasket on the head or barrels to see were they don't line up

RF900 pins are 19mm, 750 ones are 18! You need rods. Wouldn't it be even better with 900 crank and longer stroke, too? 750 head should do the trick if you keep your eye on clearances!

I went the rf 900 route pistons are same size but the stroke is longer to give the extra cc I used rf900 bottom end and 750 head and cams worked a treat and chucked out good power also not to difficult to do
