Question for anyone that may have lead, or know the cause of this issue, The other day I was riding my RF900 to work and I was at a stoplight, let out the clutch to takeoff and it did this terrible stumbling and flopping back and forth in rpms and cut off on me several times before i could get rolling.. Whenever i get rolling and the clutch is completely out, all is fine. But soon at i give it gas while letting out the clutch its stumbles and flops back and forth in rpms. I have come to notice that when im up to around 30-70 mph, pull in the clutch and rev it around 6-8k as im letting out the clutch it will do the same thing.
Something about me letting that clutch out the bike dosent like. Any ideas folks? Also, My rf is basically just a destroked 1100. Figured i might get some expertise here! thanks

Sounds like clutch judder ... I think its caused by the clutch plates not separating from each other cleanly It could be the oilf is the wrong grade maybe to thick? To begin with try an oil change you should be using 10-40 semi synth.
Is the clutch biting in the usual place? Have a look at the fluid and change it if its gone dark coloured. Take off the sprocket cover clean inside it and check the slave cylinder, they can leak from the seal. If there's still no change then it looms like you'll have to open the clutch and have a look at the plates.
