Hi everyone, I have a 1997 RF900RV the front sprocket seems to have flattened threads on the drive shaft when someone has removed the sprocket. The damage seems pretty bad to one area in particular does anyone know the correct measurement of the threads on drive shaft? I have basic tools and tried to measure threads and they seem to be 18 or 20mm? and I can't get thread pitch to try to get a die or some other thread repair. Any advice for me? anyone tell me correct thread measurements? I only read the info normally on the site but love the amount and quality of the info on here, well done to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any advice or help very welcome as I'm short on a solution. Thank's everybody.

If you don't have any joy buy a NEW gearbox sprocket nut from your local dealer and measure the pitch with some Thread Gauges...
