ok so few small updates bike off the bench out into sunlight to check side stand and foot rests and bar height etc chucked my mrs on to see if angles worked out (note ugg saftey slippers ) similar to her bandito so fine downloaded a carb instructions for vm29 s now back on the ramp 1200 engine out , rear pillion pegs now not happening no pillion will be on it .

looking good ash but the engine in the pic look,s to far forward at the top ?? maybe just the angle of the dangle. ps nice slipper,s....... just right for riding in the summer month,s smileyt2801

That bandit 1200 engine is now out dave , its for a future build or for sale later this year , got 750 engine from running bike that I got flatslides vm29s with

thanks ken dave and garry , all baby steps as funds are short , got motor in 750f dothead and now finding that there are lots of loose bolts on this "running engine" so i might be in for trouble taken cam cover off to find cam cap minus a bolt so got to go over the full thing , my engine mounting alloy plates are next on the agenda for this weekend

dave if i use the dot head on the bandit i end up with a worth less half 750 engine and a bandit head so speed is not an issue . 1200 motor will be a future venture or you can have first refusal ...............

Looking good Ash, With a bit of luck I may be back in the man cave after the next bank holiday (fingers crossed) That's our deadline for house. So I don't have to be nee deep in tile / cement dust etc etc.. I can be up to my elbows in oily bits.....

few more bits done slowly as time is precious at the min gsxr 1000 clocks for a slightly more modern dash (had these from another build so free) and fitted an led gear indicator alloy clock mount covered in carbon wrap

to carry on the old / modern theme i got some reflectors for the forks as cage drivers need all the help they can at seeing us

exhaust is going to be having a hew link pipe too so i can get the yoshimura rs3 oval shortened as in the earlier post , rearsets are going and i am hunting for something better
