Can it be done?? Did read somewhere that the watercooled frames were smaller? Or is it like the oilboilers were am 11 will fit into a750?? Both engine and frame are WS I know you can't fit an oilboiler in to a 750 watercooled frame as I have tried that!! Any and all info much appreciated. Roy

Yes there oil boilers this is water cooled the water cooled frames are not as roomy as the oil boiler frames I do have an 1100L slingshot frame too? but think I will get beaten to death sticking a water cooled lump in one!!! LOL
I think the water cooled 1100 lump is taller than the oil cooled 1100 motor, know water cooled motor is shorter front to back as the oil boiler hits the swing arm mount in the frame? best thing is chuck it in and see were it touch's !!!!

Roy Oil-cooled lumps fit into the watercooler frames okay(it has been done loads of times),it's tight but they go. The Cross brothers did this one with a bandit12 motor Btw iirc the rf900 and 1100 watercooler top ends, fit the 750 bottom ends.

watercooled 1100 & wc 750 are exactly the same frame the only differences are the longer swinging arm and longer forks
