Dose all bolt up but need to mod adaptor plate as it touches frame and mod turbo housing as it also touches the frame.

When you say 'split' - for what purpose? Bearings go in from either side. un-bolt the wheels off the shaft and the shaft comes out. Nothing between the bearings other than sometimes a spacer! If there are no visible bolts or vee band then its all one casting and nothing to split!

Last pic is of housing with V band removed. Just want to spin housing round a bit to get oil outlet to bottom and air outlet a bit closer to the plenium feed pipe.

Probably rust locked together then. You'll have to be careful trying to separate them as its easy to catch a blade on the turbine wheel if they split when you're not expecting it to! Guess i've been lucky - loosen a bit and swivel to new spot. I think i'd be tempted to put the vee band back on but loose to stop them falling apart and then get medieval with heat and beating implements?

Just be careful trying to turn the housing as the TD 04 i had was fitted with a location dowl had to take the exhaust housing off to remove the peg then move it round

Clive, sorry to go slightly 'off topic' midway through your thread, but where did you get your seat from? It looks good for a stepped seat (unlike some I've seen!).

Its a standard seat cut down at front with a gel pad in the front and built up a bit at the back. A company that has a stand at Rufforth auto jumble made the cover and fitted it.

Thought this might be of help to someone wanting to fit a different shock to a b12. Got this nitron shock for a zx9 of g sex r (cheers Dave). As you can see it is about 20mm longer than the WP b12 one I had on the bike.

First thing I noticed was the fork on the bottom of the nitron shock was 2mm wider than the b12 one, so fitted a couple of washers either side.
