Had a spot of trouble with the other threads so bought a kit and replaced all cam cover bolt hole threads. Currenlty trying to source fuel tap kit as mines decided to leak a bit but am having a bit of trouble sourcing one where postage to aust isnt nearly 50$ for what is essentially an envelope size parcel.

Update. Engine fired up then an eletrical gremlin started playing tricks with starter circuit first then Battery drain and non working instrumrnt lights. Sorted starter circuit now just need to work out why not power to instrument lights. .....so after i rewired the loom i was able to fire it up. heres some video of it. Watch "89 gixxer pokes its head out of shed" on YouTube
