Been doing some work with the wiring, oil change and some little details like making a new tank bracket

Cheers guys:-) Yeah I have had that thought about headlights, I've got some little led spotlights that fit in the holes quite nicely...still toying with a daytime mot tho I know its old but but ive only just seen this. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DAYTIME MOT! In the old days of hand written mots it was not uncommon (all be it wrong) that if something was taken for test with no lights fitted, the tester would write on the ticket 'for day time use only'. I the computer world of mots all they can do is advise 'no lights fitted at time of test', so you have a 'full' mot but it is down to you not to use it at night or in reduced visibility. If fit lights after the mot you can use it when you like.

Just to add- you don't even need a brake light, the only MUST HAVES in the lighting and signaling part of the test is a rear reflector and a constant note horn (so no old bicycle bulb horns or tune playing).
