We'll soon see if it works or not, no reason why it shouldn't....
Got the tps and map sensor sorted, fuel pump relay works so im on to the data logger and lambda. Got an oil pressure sender on the way and hopefully can use the same type for the fuel pressure as well, these will just be for the data logger.
Its getting closer to hitting the go button!

Exacty no reason it wont work......was going to do a GS1000 a similar way so interested to see how you get on..... i was wondering as there is no raw fuel going through the turbo...Does it need to be carbon sealed

Cheers, its getting ever closer to running!
Been sorting the shed out lately, new boards on the inside plus insulating the walls etc. Managed to get a bit of time on it though, injectors are wired in and tested, fuel pump is ready to go and the data logger is ready for power so its looking good.
The turbo is carbon sealed anyway but im not really sure if it is essential, some say it needs carbon seals because of the fuel, others say its because of the negative pressure its put under. Either way I'm covered anyway.

It won't need carbon sealing due to the fuel - that's miles away! But as it is behind the TB, it will as it will see vacuum on closed throttle and will suck the oil from the turbo bearing - good old skool look! That MAP sensor certainly isn't reading right on the screen shot - should be around 100mbar with engine off. If the TPS isn't changing it'll be incorrect pin-out problem - easy to sort though!

The MAP sensor wasn't connected in that pic, it is now though but reading slightly low I think. I've got the temp sensors to calibrate so I think I'll be able to do the MAP sensor too. The TPS problem was because I hadn't selected my ECU type, once I did that it worked right away.

Well the under seat oil cooler is piped up, wasn't too bad in the end really. The lines up there are pretty well hidden. The turbo oil drain is sorted temporarily as I need the clutch cover from WSR back. Its filled with oil, the cooler is full and the turbo feed is bled up.
The Lambda is all sorted bar a cable I need to shorten but I'll leave it as it is for the initial fire up. The last sensors are in and wired, fuel pressure is set and there's fuel in the tank.
Just waiting for Tiff to make the 36-1 trigger wheel then I'm ready to fire it up, watch this space...
