I've tried not to do anything TOO obvious, it takes people a while to realise anythings done at all and then a while to figure how much. It's obviously a lot easier if you're just looking at a photo but when it's just in front of you not so obvious.
The swingarm was of that period, USD's weren't. Wheels were one reason for wobbles, they were flexible so replacements for these and the not astounding callipers were acceptable.
I never had a problem with forks. I put 10wt oil in on mis-advice and it's actually much better on fast 'B' roads so I'm happy now.

I quite agree Rusty - we do to it what makes it ours.
I loved the original when I first saw it so that's what I want to keep.
Obviously I try to improve it, but not visually.
I do sometimes wish I'd kept the 18" CMA's on it 'cos I'm decking the 'zorst and leading edge of the gairing now. With 18"s I was wearing the toes out of my boots on the pegs, but they weren't wide enough for the 1100 power and wide 18"s would slow the steering.
Life is a compromise!
(and I'm geting old!)

Actually I have the same philosophy - if you're frightened of coming off don't get on! Me and my mates had the attitude when dirt biking in the forestry and gravel pits that if you don't come off occassionally you're not trying hard enough!
