After hiding in the cave for most of the winter my freshly put together B12 now wears a K8 1000 shock. Now im finding I have clearance issues between the front of the shock spring and the swinger. Could this be because ive also refitted my 25mm jack up bones? Under load shes ok but unloaded they are touching.
Also if you store a shock on its side for a while will it bugger it? There seems to be no damping or rebound regardless of adjustment. I recently posted something similar of FB just in case you think you have seen this before.
Cheers Andy.

Andy, I've the same set-up and I've found the same issue now you've mentioned it. The spring just kisses the swinger on full droop but it's not an issue once back on it's wheels. Try rotating the spring a little.

Yeh had the same but on a gsxr, rotated the pring a bit to help, but yes ur jack up kit will defo be causing the issue more as the shock will already be jacking the rear up anyways

Cheers lads, never thought of just rotating the spring....After getting a couple of opinions it would seem the chock is buggered anyway. Back to the drawing board.
