Bikes coming along nicely now, just had the frame shot blasted and the frame loop welded on to the bike. Am a little bit stuck now however. Gonna have to have a new seat made which means moving the mounting points of the seat, this is easy enough at the front as the original mount can just be cut and re welded in to position. However at the back there are no mounting points, so any ideas on how to make the back secure?? Bearing in mind I am gonna have a plate across the bottom of the frame to hold the electrics.

Decided against the idea I had shown above. Instead I have removed the seat mount and welded in plates across the bottom of the from underneath the seat. I have only tacked them on for now, going to finish off the welding tomorrow as I have run out of time today. Any tips for the final weld up to allow for any possible flexing in the frame?

Your looking fresh buddy, great stuff for first build for sure, Goosey gander is mono shocked ! And also solo seated too so only flex you SHOULD get is from your arse, the mono shock will not effect the tail unit much as your only small I'm guessing, i would have maybe fitted one cross tube accross the tray for piece of mind did this on my Gs cafe , if your seat needs say four anchor mounts you can drill a cross tube and fit either rivnuts or weld a threaded bung in that covers every option in my book ,but you would need to know where seats going to mount before welding tube in. Keep it up lad it's going to be sweet little beasty.
