cheers rusty. started to put things together tonight so i can start to play around with fitting the harness. got a call from the coater, clutch cover is done, will pick it up tomorrow afternoon. did a temp fit of the sump so i can work out the route of the oil hoses to the cooler. brakes and lines installed. rear pillion pegs fitted. bars and controls fitted but after checking the throttle cables i will be ordering some cable from Venhill to replace them.

not much done tonight as i couldnt find any 2mm alloy plate to use as a pattern to make the head light brackets out of. so i just went ahead and cut the existing brackets down ready. then did a bit of cutting and shaping to get the chain guard to fit with the new shock mounts and differently spaced wheel.

got some thin alloy sheet, so can now get on with making some h/lamp mounting templates, might have a go at them later. Tank has been delivered to the paint shop, got a call from them saying it aint in the best of condition!! but it is off to get blasted, they will let me know if it is no good if it comes back looking shit! but if i dont hear anything within a week then it is good and they will crack on with prep, base coat and white. which should then leave me having to take the bike down to them so we can fit the tank and bits to line every thing up for marking out. I do hope that i havent got another fucked tank!
