2 years ago I purchased an 1983 (A) GSX1100 EZ that has been off the road since 2004, with the intention of getting it back road worthy.
So far I have, •Stripped down and rebuilt the Brakes, including fitting a set of HEL braided lines as the old rubber hoses where looking a bit perished.
•Replaced the fork seals and oil. •Replaced the broken indicators with a set of new LED ones. •Have done a basic clean and rebuild of the carbs.
Now when I start the bike it runs on three cylinders to start then number 4 kicks in once the engine starts to warm up, is it worth doing another carb rebuild or could it be something worse.. ?

And I am also after • an original front wheel as it has been changes for an unknown type ( I will add a photo later if anyone is able to identify what type of wheel this is..)
• set of engine bars, ( I only have one, it was on a sidecar set up before I got it).

This is the front wheel, I currently have. I would like to get a front wheel to match the rear.

I have that wheel for you, you can have it if you want, I also have some discs if you need them.
That frontwheel on the picture is an Astralite and quite rare and expensive if I am right... 18 inch?

Hi, yes its an 18inch, not sure when / why it was put on the bike, it was on the bike when it was in a sidecar set up. I am trying to get it looking as close to original as possible without spending too much money.

Many thanks to Peter for supplying the front wheel.
She is now alive and with the replacement of the battery will happily sit there on tickover with no problems, other than a slight noise when the clutch is released, not sure of this is due to being sat for 8 years and only just getting back into use.
Looking forward to getting her back on the road in the next few weeks.
