Anyone ever dealt with v slight leak from crank seal ( right side ) before? perhaps caused by blow-by ?? replace seal ? or seal out for a bit of goob then back in?

Seal out and in with a new one. Think you might have to split case to do job though!!

Cases do clamp seal so ideally split cases, if at a race for example - pull out and push in replacement could be done!

As above. I changed mine when I had the crank out, which obviosly meant the cases were already split. I have heard though folk doing them in situ, but it'll mess with ya melon man! Be sure to put it in the right way round, which is actually the wrong way round.

Have seen some old posts referring to the gs saying the same regarding no need to split cases.? Am thinking bolt and large washers to wind in slowly technique. Any failed attempts known about ?
